This wine comes from terroirs located on the hillsides of Husseren-les-Châteaux, culminating point of the famous Alsace Wine Road, at an altitude of about 250 to 400 meters. The nature of these soils is a mosaic made of clay, marl, limestone and loess. These soils allow beautiful maturations and the preservation of acidity. This gives wines with an expression of ripe fruit and a nice freshness in the finish.
The Pinot Noir in its most delicious form! A cuvée resulting from carbonic maceration followed by aging in wooden casks on lees. On the nose, it reveals an explosion of ripe red fruits (cherries, strawberries), very juicy.
The palate is smooth and savory… A sparkle of fruit! This wine is not fined and unfiltered. The occurrence of deposit testifies to our philosophy ... to serve delicately.
Good-pairing with grilled meat and poultry. It is also very pleasant with deli meats and cheeses.
